Jeanne Burris Johnson shows up where art meets action. She’s been recognized for securing major grants, launching bold exhibitions, and creating real opportunities for Michigan artists. As Director of Program Operations at Art Studio 1219 and founder of New Century Art Gallery, she didn’t just keep things running—she built platforms that supported artists and engaged the public. While New Century has since closed, the work she led continues to influence how artists connect with their communities.
